Fun for all ages

Hidden Meadows is a truly wonderful place to bring children of any age! The whole site (with the exception of the car park area) is car-free, meaning you can sit and relax watching your children playing safely in nature. Why not join them for a game of rounders, badminton or play charades in the sunshine?

At each tent you will have your own chickens to feed and to collect freshly laid eggs from; very exciting for most children, dippy eggs never tasted so good!

For our younger guests why not visit the enchanted fairy village in the woods, see where the fairies live and make a wish at the ringing wishing tree.

You can also take the children to our den building area in the woods so they can test their skills at shelter building. Take a walk along the stream and through the meadows and see who can spot the most wildlife.

Quality time with the whole family

Always wanted to teach the children how to fish? Well, why not take a stroll to our pond and let them experience the joy of catching their first fish! Ian is always on hand if you need any help. Fancy doing a spot of pond dipping? We also have nets and small buckets for that too!

There are many beaches less than 20 minutes drive away, beautiful Southwold with it’s amazing pier, long sandy beaches and it’s famous brightly coloured beach huts. There’s Walberswick, a fine place to go crabbing (see who can catch the biggest crab!). Beccles also boasts it’s own community owned Lido which overlooks the broads, for outdoor swimming.

When the sun starts to set the whole family can gather around your own campfire, sipping hot chocolate, listening to the owls hooting, toasting marshmallows and gazing up into the clear night sky to hopefully spot a shooting star to make a wish upon. A special time to reconnect with loved ones.
