We enjoyed the walks over the SSSI reserve and along the river, and we had a very relaxing stay in a lovely environment, we will be telling all our friends!”

“Fantastic stay! We’re not regular campers, so this holiday was pioneering for us, and we are so glad we came. As a family break I would highly recommend this holiday which gives you direct access to the peace and wildlife of secluded meadows and woodland, the adventures of building your own campfire and fending for yourselves safe in the knowledge that you had the home comforts to come back to (in the luxury tent) and knowing that our wonderful hosts, Ian & Lynne, were always on hand to help, advise and assist us to live the adventure!”

“We have just returned home after a three night stay at Hidden Meadows and had a wonderful time. The Kingfisher tent is excellent. The bedroom area is neatly partitioned from the living area, leaving plenty of space for relaxing around the cosy log burner or playing board games on the dinning table. Outside there is a spacious veranda allowing you to simply sit and listen. There is ample space for exploring the site, a hidden gem for the keen wildlifer/photographer and an adventure for children. We would definitely recommend Hidden Meadows to anyone looking for peace and tranquility. Thanks very much we’ve had a great time.”

“What a little gem we found in Hidden Meadows, idyllic, peaceful, relaxing yet fun. Everything was just so. Being able to have a camp fire and BBQ. The furnishings in the tent were comfy and good quality, and the hot shower a luxury. The attention to detail by Ian & Lynne is second to none, nothing was too much trouble, extremely welcoming, informative and everything you needed provided for. The camp/craft/survival course is a must, interesting yet entertaining and you have to have one of Lynne’s home cooked meals, delivered to your tent piping hot, wrapped in hay. The welcome pack is most appreciated and I did have to ask Lynne for her recipe for her homemade cake! The kids had a ball in the vast open space and loved wood hunting, looking at nature, making the camp fire and at the end of the day we could all chill out playing games and telling stories in front of the log burner, would so recommend, 5 stars, PERFECT, THANK YOU!”

“The tent was furnished beautifully and had everything you needed for a holiday even cooking oil! The children loved collecting the fresh eggs from the chickens each morning and the homemade cake! We had a lovely time visiting nearby Walberswick and crabbing there (recommended by Ian & Lynne). We couldn’t think of anything that could have improved our stay, it was fab!”

“The accommodation was lovely, more than we expected, the children loved the chickens and toasting marshmallows over the fire. We ordered the welcome evening meal which was delivered in a hay box, and ate our fruit crumble in front of the camp fire. There is lots of space all in a nice location, would stay again.”

“From booking the holiday, to the stay itself, Hidden Meadows has been a real pleasure. Lynne & Ian cannot do enough for your stay, if you need it they are there and if you don’t they are happy to leave you alone in peace to enjoy your time. The accommodation was everything and more than we expected and the seclusion of the plot was a pleasurable surprise when we got there. It was important for our party that we had our own facilities and this was one of the reasons we booked, it made the whole experience more enjoyable. This was our first time glamping and it certainly won’t be the last at Hidden Meadows, if you are unsure about camping this is a better alternative as you get home comforts and still have a degree of ‘camping’. Do not hesitate to go here, it really is great value and Lynne & Ian really make you feel welcome.”

Every little detail has been thought about here – from fresh flowers on the table, the bait line for Noah to go crabbing, the marshmallows for toasting, the oh so comfy beds and duvets, the thick rugs for your feet when eventually you get out of bed… the list goes on, and Lynne & Ian are the absolute perfect hosts. We would recommend in an instant – except we don’t want to so we can keep it to ourselves!”

We stayed at Hidden Meadows for my birthday weekend with my family. We absolutely loved it! The tent is strong and beautiful (we had a bit rain and but we all slept well), cozy bed, hot shower and evening well equipped. The surrounding area is truly beautiful and tranquil. We felt immediately relaxed and able to be distance ourselves from busy daily life as soon as we stepped onto the site…
